Post Miscellany

I have a hundred odd things to write about..Let me put everything in tis one post and rest in peace.

1.Reservation and raging protests
------------------------------------------------
The government never understands what students say and does not want to listen...They think the public are fools fighting for no reason..Can't they(govt.) stop and think about what we r saying..The HRD minister makes dumb changes now and is not going to live for ever to see the chaos its gonna create in the future..We have to live with the damn good for nothing policies.

2.Terrorists attacks in INDIA
-------------------------------------------------
With the case on the Bombay blasts in 1993, not yet come to an end, we have had 2 more blasts in around that place killing large number of people.
"Justice delayed is justice denied."--->I seriously think our judicial system has to speed up and give judgements at a faster pace!

3.ICC and Dhoni!
-------------------------------------------------
I don't know whether this is of much concern to others, but I did feel bad when I did not see Dhoni's name in any of award nominations.I don't know how his name had not been considered at all, after all he is a man who stayed at the top of the ICC ranking even though it was for an ephemeral period. What ever happens brand Dhoni does mean a lot here in INDIA!...And the man himself is a darling of the cricketing fanatics!

4.Surya and Jo tie the Knot
------------------------------------------------
The most talked about wedding took place in Chennai yesterday.Actor Surya married his Co-star and long time love Jyothika in a star studded ceremony yesterday...They make a wonderful pair and share a great chemistry on screen and off it..A very loved pair in south India, they are made for each other...I wish them a happy married life...

Independence Day

Sanskrit: Janani Janma Boomicha
Swargadapi Gariyasi

Meaning: Mother and Motherland are greater than
HEAVEN

Though I complain a lot about my country, in the heart of my hearts I luv this place...and I also know all Indians will accept this, cause all of us are made the same way.We keep ranting about the inadequacies yet we learn to live with it or change it, depending on the problem. This is what freedom means to us, the ranting and the changes they can bring about or atleast to me!

The 60th Independence day of our country was celebrated with a splendid flag hoisting ceremony by our PM in Red Fort today(the general stuff)..Looking back our country has come a long way from the tired post-colonial India to the raising Super power..We are the land tat still knows its roots and is aiming for the stars(literally)..
I am proud to b an Indian!!

Where Cricket Is a Religion

India is a country that has been known for various things from spices to bollywood(xtra spicy)..And of all this the most important thing is the "CRICKET CraZY People" our country is populated...no no over-populated with..Where ever cricket is being played, Indian media covers it all!

For a country whose national game is Hockey(did u know this), cricket is a religion and all the players are MORTAL gods.Every game played by the country is watched with a lot of fervor...Special poojas being performed, fans going to prayers and asking god(the real one) to help the team win, praying for no rains(otherwise we keep praying it should rain!!!)..etc are part of the pre match activities.

An indo-pak match is viewed as a battle field and victory is mandatory..any other result is quickly criticised as bad gaming tactics by our players and further complaints on how they fail to take quality time to practice well!!!

In such a country, every small change in the game is noted and followed well.the recent stuffs include the come back of Little MAster "sachin", the SECRET practice session in Bangalore and Mr.Dalmia being re-elected...Well all these are the stuff that had to happen. But, the book 'Indian Summers' by John Wright, the former Indian coach brings in a new dimension to cricket in India. The book, its said, openly critices many cricketers and also gives details about the selection process of the Indian cricket team...Great!!
Now wat r we gonna do to this guy who has cast such stain on this religion of ours..
his book is like...er....Da Wright Code...on cricket!!!
So when r we gonna start striking for this????;)
Y is the media so silent??

Lifting a BAN

DoT has finally bowed down to pressure from the online community of bloggers and internet users.

With the pressure from online communities and bloggers, blogs have been re-opened from yesterday(I am sure)..Well the silly thing tat the ISPs did was that they had blocked an entire domain like blogspot, typepad..wen the govt. had told them to block specific sites!.

DoT goes on defensive

The ban and me::

Now that the ban has been lifted, I really happy to go abt visiting all my fav blogs...When the ban came into existence on monday, I had finished exactly one year in blogging world.i was feeling a little bad that the ban had to come to b on that exact day..At first I tot there was something wrong with my blog. Then wen I went to c my friend's blog I could not open it too..Immediately I went to see if something was wrong with my connection. On reconnecting again, I did not find any improvement in the condition. Then I checked out my browser settings, I found that everything was fine.So I came to conclusion that there was some problem with the domain name...It was then tat my friend told me about the ban..I immediately went on to read about it on online news sites..I expressed my displeasure in all the forums in I was the member, I also hoped that this ban had come over for a temporary period and the government will act soon on the blogging community's displeasure....Well the government did work quick on this issue!!

Zizou's Magic

Tears rolled down my cheeks, during the finals of the football world cup, when the Italians lifted the cup.The cup I wanted Zizuo to lift, and sure he would, was now in the hands of the other team. This feeling was not new to me, I felt the same way when the Aussies lifted the cricket world cup and the Indians stood there watching it as losers!!
When the magical piper, Zizou was given the red card in this final the French dream of the world cup came down crashing..As it had always been said, if Zidane plays France plays!
The reason for his(Zinedine Zidane) behaviour remains unknown..but he could have kept his temper a bit cool, atleast in his last International appearence ever.It was a game well played and lost cos the magical captain had left the field!!Though the French can feel happy about the second position, they still have a reason to feel bad.."Feel bad about losing a match in which victory was very close".
Anyways Zizou still got the best player award in this WC..Zidane polled 2012 points in the vote by journalists covering the tournament, beating Italians Fabio Cannavaro (1977 points) and Andrea Pirlo (715 points) in the ballot.
All came to a close with a good celebrations tat was a treat to the eyes...Germany sure made this worldcup a memorable one...Way to go Germany!

Sleeping with a Sickness

Can sleeping ever be a problem, may be too much or too little of sleep could cause problems, but there is another kind of sleep that is a dangerous disease! Yes its a disease called SLEEPING SICKNESS which is very prevalent in Africa. The disease is so prevalent there that, its called an endemic disease in these regions.

Today by chance I watched a show on BBC about this disease.African trypanosomiasis, as its also called,is a parasitic disease in people and in animals. Its caused by protozoa of genus Trypanosoma and transmitted by the tsetse fly.People in over 36 countries making up 60 million people are infected by this disease. It is estimated that 300,000 - 500,000 people are infected, and about 40,000 die every year. Three major epidemics have occurred in the past hundred years, in 1896 - 1906, 1920, and 1970.The problem with this disease is that, the disease is only spread by mosquitoes but, it needs an infected person first to get mosquito infected. Thus the irradication of the disease amongst the humans takes center stage rather than irradicating the mosquitoes that act as vectors carrying the parasite around.

The show went on to elaborate on the steps taken by WHO to help people in the interiors of Africa especially those settled close to the Congo river.WHO is providing medicines free of cost to help combat the deadly disease. But the medicines provided by them are typically as old as 30 years in formula and hence they fear the resistance of the parasite to the medicine, thus making it an incurable disease.

The disease by itself is very deady because it affects the brain, the center of all bodily activity. It causes the person to fall asleep at short intervals followed by extremely active or a simple wakeful state. Depending on the degree of the disease,a person could suffer various problems. It was a pathetic sight to see those people suffering from the disease in the UN run hospitals in Africa.

What I felt very bad is that even though we humans have come a long way in technology, the progress in the field of medicine to save life has been too small..or has slowed down drastically. We still stick on penicillin, which was discovered way back in the past!! I wouldn't say people are not doing anything but,I just feel technology is making us blind to real needs.

The Defeat of the Mighty Brazilians

The match between Brazil and French was simply superb...well being in India has this inconvinience of having to watch the match into the early hours of the morning..I somehow kept myself awake to watch this match, and ofcourse watched the England Vs Portugal match before tat.

History repeats itself...tats wats the commentator said yesterday, so true were his words...England had never won a Penalty shoot out, and yesterday again the very same penalty shoot out destroyed their world cup dream..

IN the case of Brazil, they had lost to the French in 1998 world cup, and it happened again!...Just a single goal scored by the French had taken them into the next level, the Brazils on the other hand were equally matched ,yet they could not goal that levelling goal....It was indeed a little teary, but both the teams were really well matched and one had to lose..Brazil fought it out real well...Great job!!

The CAS

If you are a person belonging to Chennai, you would surely be knowing the misery of this system, the conditional access system, CAS in short. For all others, here is a brief look into what it means.

According to this system, anyone who wants to watch the paid channels on their t.v using cable network, have to buy a set top box, pay for the channels, the operators plus buy the set top box and only then can they see the channels of their choice.

This dumb system is put to use only in Chennai, I mean it cos, any house outside the city limits can still watch all the 100 odd channels without the set top box..
Why should the chennai ppl alone be left out watching channels of someone else's choice, while rest of the world can watch everything else...If you think I could have bought the set top box instead of grumbling, thats the point here...What I mean to say is why should we alone pay so many overheads when everyone else isn't.

In the name of regularisation and experimentation, this system was activated here...Have they still not drawn conclusions from this experiment, do they think this is taking them no where...If anyone thinks that way why don't they banish this dumb thing, I can't watch a single good movie because of it...I guess everyone else is content with limited choices huh!!!

Petrol Problems

I am back to blogging..This time I had been away from my system for quite long cos of travelling and this damn net connection does not work very often!
The new problem now is Petrol price hike!
The hike in petrol price has hit everyone hard and it does hurt a lot!
Now a days I find myself taking to public transport more frequently..I have not touched my scooter for long now...
Its indeed too bad on the govt's path to rise the price even after ppl told them tat they can't afford such prices...Just because its an essential thing, and ppl can't avoid using it, the govt. is trying to earn out of it!

Well here we go, the country again begins another protest tat would take us no where!
As if someone is gonna listen to "THE PEOPLE".

Never Rains here

Where ever on earth it rains, it will never rain here, rt here in CHennai!
This place is sun god's own land where, not a cloud can pour his content on this piece of land where the tamils live and die!
I have heard a lot in the news, about rains in Kerala, Maharashtra, W.Bengal, even our loving and caring neigbours Karnataka. Its like raining cats and dogs in all these places with premature rains and long monsoons in all the states...And here in Chennai, summer is heating the life out of us..This is the place where the summer collection of the garment stores sells..This is the place where summer happens on earth.
Early sun rise, late sun set and between these its hot hot and terribly hot!
Fans mean nothing, cold water, multiple baths, talcum powder, prickly heat powder, pulled down curtains, staying in at home..no nothing can save you from the heat.A cloudy day is a relief to the eyes, but the sun manages to do his duty within the few hours he is shone and the rest of the time can still pass his heat to ur wonderful skin, even through those soft clouds, mercilessly!
Its simply horrible here in chennai aaagggrrrhhh..
Sun god please take some rest and go holidaying in the Artics or some place na, give the rain god a chance to visit us!

A Big No To Reservation

Its been a very long week for those protesting against the reservation proposed by the government for "helping" out the people in the "backward caste".Its been a long week cos they have been on a hunger strike for longer than this, a lot of protest marches, lots of media meetings, lots of things to organise and lots of work to be done to mobilise ppl from all over the country. But at the end of all this the government has taken its stand in the issue and gone on to implement this policy in the next academic year, with a "PROMISE" of increasing the number of seats in the instituitions all over the country.

The promise of these politicians that had never been kept all these years at any point of time is deemed to be false even in view of this issue...Is it possible to increase the number of seats in a matter of just a year, is it possible to establish an infrastructure so quickly to accomodate the rush of students?

Though the response from the doctors and medical faculty had been very quick the rest of the sectors are slowly waking up to the possible damages of this policy...Though the response has been delayed, it sure is building up!

Is the government seriously thinking about what the students r trying to tell them through these protests?

Is the government turning into a group of people trying to do what they think is good for others and when they come to know that others think that what they have done is wrong, their "EGO or Feeling of I AM ALWAYS RT" makes them not to let 'em to go back on their words and accept their mistake?

Coming back to the hunger strike...If this kind of a hunger strike was carried out by a politician, a bussiness or film big shot, will the government have been so silent without trying to appease the protesters asap? R they thinking tat, kids only naa...if they faint they will leave the issue!

But I think we will make them feel they were wrong and hope the govt. go back on their words!! THEY BETTER OR ELSE...EVEN GOD CAN'T SAVE OUR COUNTRY!
(
1.from the raging protests
2. from the people gettin into instituitions thru' reservation!
3.from autocracy under the name of democracy.
)

Reservation

Is reservation the need of the day in our country...I am one of those ppl who r against this kind of reservation...I feel tat the policy tat had taken our country no where in the past 50 years is not going to do any good at higher percentage in the coming years..

What is the point of reserving based on caste in a secular country? How the hell r they going to abolish castism and division of the country based on caste?

If reservation was ever needed it should be entirely be based on economic backwardness or based on the regional backwardness!

But the country can do very well without reservation.. for this an improvement of education at the school levels is essential..Can't the govt. look into this issue instead of reserving?

The lathi charge on the students in Mumbai is something tat should not have been done in the first place..

Computer Vs Color TV Vs Clean Politics

Well the counting of the votes start tomorrow in tamil nadu...Its indeed an important moment for these fighting politicians in the state..

It silences them for tat one day like the day we students wait for our univ results.
Its fun to watch these chatter boxes silenced for atleast a day and the tension on their faces is a comedy tat should be rather seen than said...

The results of this election can either bring us a color tv, a computer or err...wat did they say...yeah..Clean politics(A commodity, tat has never been in stock)..

Lets hope for the best and I am hoping against hope tat the important commodity will be offered to us as PROMISED....

Vote

The elections are just a few hours away, there is only one thing that we as responsible citizens can do...cast our votes.
This is the only time tat we can show the politicians wat we think about them and their ideas...
Being inactive and not voting proves nothing and cannot do any good, its better to vote and show it this way!!!

So do vote its our duty.

The Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code is a superb book...I read the book long long ago(courtesy Rakesh- I borrowed his book)...But there is something absolutely good about the book that makes me want to re-read it.Its its anagrams, the detailed description of art works, the description of hidden symbols and ofcourse the details of a secret society the Priory of sion.

The book sure is a page turner, full of twists and turns and of course provides lots of stuff to think upon and makes one feel the wat a Genius Leonardo Da Vinci was.
Well I always was mad over history and the renaissance arts and this book was real food for that..All most all of the things described in the book were done very well.

But why heck am I writing about all this now???
The reason is that the book has been made into a movie and gonna be released soon..can't wait to see how this book has gone into the screen.

This book has been through lot of critism and been out of legal battle too...Even now the release of the film is being opposed by some...Anyway hope it comes out well and delivers the same fun as the book.

Y Kill People?

In the past few days, the number innocent people killed over issues unrelated to them and issues that are not even issues has been on the increase.

The engg in Afganisthan(Late Mr.Suryanarayanan) was killed for no mistake of his, he had been on duty in Afgan and was killed due to the fact tat he was an INDIAN, trying to do his job there.

Not only outside INDIA but even inside our country the terrorist forces r acting very badly and killing people indiscriminately....They simply want to kill and even kill Children...Y should ppl be so brutal? R there no means of getting wat one wants without killin ppl or working the extreme ways?
Is violence needed for showing one's unhappiness towards a system?
Even if the wants r so important and have to be shown out in rage, y the hell should innocent people be killed?

Good Joke!

Found this joke in mail....It was really good one...

A Chinese walks into a bar in America late one night and he saw Steven Spielberg.
As he was a great fan of his movies, he rushes over to him, and asks for his autograph.
Instead, Spielberg gives him a slap and says, "You Chinese people bombed our Pearl Harbour, get outta here."
The astonished Chinese man replied, "It was not the Chinese who bombed your PearlHarbour, it was the Japanese".
"Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, you're all the same," replied Spielberg.

In return, the Chinese gives Spielberg a slap and says, "You sank the Titanic, my forefathers were on that ship."
Shocked, Spielberg replies, "It was the iceberg that sank the ship, not me."
The Chinese replies, "Iceberg, Spielberg, Carlsberg, you're all the same."

( This particular joke won an award for the best joke in a competition organized in Britain and this joke was sent by
an Indian.)

Reservation

RESERVATION

The above link takes u to a poll on whether to know if u support a proposed reservation. All these days we have been putting up with this crap over every walk of our lives, but today our politicians want to penetrate into the premier institutions of our country tat stand not only big but also only one of the few things we can take pride in.
Has not our country improved?
Should there still be reservation based on caste?
Will our country ever get freedom from these division of ppl based on caste and creed?
When all tat the politicians do, try to seperate the society based on caste, why does their agenda always read as "we can create a casteless society"

The bus

When summer begins all troubles begin....Well I am speaking about my bus journey back home from ma college. Its a very wonderful journey(sarcasm intended) to and fro from ma college.I ensoi every second of it(GOD!!!).With all these wonderful things,My transport department had this wonderful plan of combining two routes..(for those who don't know wat combining routes means, It means that You make ppl travelling in 2 busses to accomodate themselves into one)
Those guys don't know simple arithmetic wherein 2+2=4....but for these guys 2+2=2 or something close to 1..Why I say this, is because they put 2 ppl per sq inch of the dumb rickety bus.
Now coming to the problem today, these transport super intellects combined the routes without any prior warnin...thus i got nothin but an inch of space to b seated and because of the fact that there was no place in the bus, people sittin had to serve as seats for the less fortunate standees. Thus there was one person on my lap and i had to hold my bag too...On top of this the bus was as hot as an oven running on the high!
So I was swooning under the xtreme conditions of temperature and pressure, with no air to chill out the interiors of the bus. When I got off the bus, it was like I was back from hell....uuuufff.

NOTE:This post was posted as a way to vent out my xtreme irritation with this summer and my colls transport dept.

Heat wave!

Its summer time and chennai burns. Its the time of the year everything and everyone melts down to nothing. The sun never feels sorry for shining down at our city during this time.I hate the dumb heat....god it just kills!!!
Well I should tell you about the better part of the summer, one gets to eat lots of ice cream, water melon and of course COLD water..
Its terribly hot here....even if u wanna escape and go somewhere..u can't do tat cos the university is well known for conducting xams in extreme conditions of temperature.
Onnu kottara mazhayil xam irrukum, illena eriyira viyila..cha.

Gettin back to the topic, its difficult to do basic things during the summer. Like a simple walk to the nearby place can be an xtremely difficult thing. When u start walking from ur home into the street u begin to feel the horrible thermal wave blowin into ur face...After a few minutes you begin sweating profusely and then it begins the terrible mania to wipe the sweat off ur face...u go on doin it at the rate of one wipe per sec to multiple times.
i hate the damn weather.......aaaggggghhh.

The Volvo Adventure

Ajit(my brother) had won the second place in the Volvo Adventure awards(yaayaay). He got the national second place. There were about 50 enteries from all over the country. Our team(ya I was one of the guides), made it to the second place.
I was very happy about this,we were called for a press meet and there ajit and his collegue had to formally present the project for the press and the Volvo ppl.
Ajit did a great job, he spoke with the rt modulation and there was no tinge of nervousness or stammer in his voice.
He answered the press ppl well and looked very confident. The response from the media was also very good, all of them made it a point to congratulate him for his good work and the ppl from Volvo were extremely impressed and said tat our team should come back to win the next time.
The winners were a school from Madurai.Their project was simply about water conservation, but they had done an impressive work.
I use this article to congratulate all the participants and the winners of Volvo adventure...I also specially congratulate Ajit(he seriously did a great job).

As the days without browsing began increasing, I started getting irritated for everything else tat went wrong. So I wanted to find out if there are more ppl who suffer from this kind of addiction ;).So I simply typed "WEBOPHILIA" in google search(I google for everythin these days).
Guess wat I found,
Excessive Internet use that harms personal relationships
or affects work performance could be classified as a new
psychiatric disorder that could effect businesses,
researchers at University of Florida said.

and it also said::::
Bloggers are high risk

Great news rt....May b I am still not in these high risk group as I don't blog really regularly :D!!!

The "Demonstration" stated above is my project's final working demonstration. My project finally, note it """finally""" began working today only.
I already had many tensions about the dumb coding, and wen I completed the whole stuff, it was riotin against me and refused to yield results. Then towards the evening, we(me and me friends) found the dumb thing was working flawlessly on another system in my lab. So I shifted to the other system and showed the demo.

Strange pattern

In my previous post I had said tat my computer had crashed, but its not so, it suddenly sprang to life on friday. I dono how it started working.I was very happy that it had started working and all.But wen I had just began working on it, a black screen came in and then strange noises from the system started coming, finally wen I switched it off manually, I expected to restart properly.....surprise, It gave me OS not found errors(GR8)....But after an hour or so wen I switched it on,it started working as though it had no problems wat so ever..Even now it shows these errors very often than never.
If someone had similar problems tell me wats wrong here, or if u hav a valid reason for this kind of a problem pppppppplllllllllsssssss tell.(I am desperately lookin for a way!)

The crash

Its been a long time since I have posted here.Well this is not a post where I will once again go bck promising tat I will post regularly, its rather a post to inform you ppl tat my posting for the next one week is near to impossible.(As if I had been regular all these days)
All this is because my computer crashed:((...I did not exactly do anything to my computer( well i generally don't use it wisely :D)...It was because of my dumb UPS that did not work properly and wen there was a power failure, it had happily got switched off thus leading to a crash. The crash could hav either harmed my motherboard or my hard disk(god knows tat).I already know my my precious RAM is gone:@...I am yet to find out on wat else has been lost in this crash..

Today I woke up very late...my mom was not bothered because she is planning to celebrate my star b'day. As soon as I opened my eyes me friend called up to wish me..She asked to wake up fully and go to Temple..I somehow managed to wake up fully, read through all my messages, answered all my friends calls and then left to work(me doing a final yr project na). At work I was Vetti almost till evening...Late in the evening the work got real tuff..and finally I got so engrossed in the frustrating work tat wen I got up to leave it was already 8pm..Rushed back home went to temple and prayed real hard to god.It was both a happy and xtremely irritating b'day..Happy cos of me friends and Irritating cos of all extremely large the work load I had.
I take this post as a way to tell all my friends tat I luv them a lot and they make a lot of difference in my life.

GOD Exists?

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty. He asks one of his new students to stand and…..
Prof: So you believe in God?
Student: Absolutely, sir.

Prof: Is God good?
Student: Sure.

Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student: Yes.

Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn’t. How is this God good then?
Hmm?

(Student is silent.)

Prof! : You can’t answer, can you? Let’s start again, young fella.
Is God good?
Student: Yes.

Prof: Is Satan good?
Student: No.

Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student: From…God…

Prof: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student: Yes.

Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it? And God did make everything.
Correct?
Student: Yes.

Prof: So who created evil?
(Student does not answer.)

Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don’t they?
Student: Yes, sir.

Prof: So, who created them?
(Student has no answer.)

Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son…Have you ever seen God?
Student: No, sir.

Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student: No , sir.

Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, and smelled your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that
matter?
Student: No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.

Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student: Yes.

Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Prof: Yes.
Student: And is there such a thing as cold?

Prof: Yes.
Student: No sir. There isn’t. (The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)
Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.

(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?
Student: You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light…. But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and its called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God.
You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to
be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)
Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going
endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?
(The class is in uproar.)
Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?

(The class! breaks out into laughter.)
Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelled it…No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Prof: I guess you’ll have to take them on faith, son.

Student: That is it, sir.. The link between man & god is FAITH.
That is all that keeps things moving & alive.
Now guess who the student is ?????

That young man was ALBERT EINSTEIN…….

Making every place No where

US targets Iran

Though Iran has consistently maintained that it's only developing nuclear plants for electricity, the US has been targetting Tehran.

Washington has even threatened imposing sanctions through the Security Council.

"We are concerned that Iran's activities pose an increasing threat to international peace and security. Iran's pattern of deception, its concealment, its confrontational approach, increasingly worry the world community," said Gregory Shulte, US Ambassador to IAEA.

The UN Security Council can impose sanctions on Iran, but Russia and China as permanent members hold veto powers.

This piece of news is from NDTV Archives.

Well I have always been against America's thirst for wars. They have already brought to ground Iraq and are yet to prove their claims about the nuclear weapons there. Now they are aiming for Iran(same pretext).I seriously don't understand why THEY should be concerned about another country is doing.Has anyone ever asked about the weapons or the nuclear power of America or Can we even question them?
All this war on other nations,I feel is to show their supremacy and test their weapons of mass destruction.
At this rate I fear that, this kind of interference is a threat to every independent country.

Fresh!

I changed my blog for a new fresh look..Do tell me how this is.I have changed it because I felt my blog needed a face lift and the other template did not have the professional touch and perfection I wanted.
This new template is satisfying and I am now working on some more improvisation( I donot know when I will complete all that).
I am happy that ramya's blog is coming up well.I hope U ppl like it....Do TELL ME.

A Movie Atlast !

Atlast I got off my boring schedule and went for a movie.I was actually waiting for the break and thanks to my friends( they got the tickets in BLACK),we went to the movie "Kanda Naal Mudal".
It was a good movie and I was happy to have seen it.
I went to a movie after almost I think aaaa aaa....6 MONTHS....sounds pretty long right but this is the shortest time between any two movies I had watched.
The longest gap being 3 to 4 years.

Anyway I broke the monotony for once and enjoyed the outing with me friends..Thanks ppl
